This sporty zip-through mock neck is the perfect layering piece when the temperature dips. It will easily solve your winter weekend wardrobe dilemmas as it’s the perfect partner for casual wear. Crafted from pure supersoft lambswool, it’s designed with a more contemporary regular fit, which means it’s slightly tapered across the waist and chest whilst still retaining plenty of room for comfort and ease of movement.

Our lambswool is spun for us by Europe’s oldest spinner, Z. Hinchliffe, founded in England over 250 years ago.

Life time of sweaters

I have been buying Alan Paine sweaters for at least 45 years. Living in Portland Oregon I have been able to purchase them at John Helmer in downtown Portland. These sweaters are always a perfect fit and they are one of the only full fashion sweaters available. I wear them under a suit for dress in the winter and for casual with jeans. This is my first purchase of a full zip. I have already received compliments on this sweater. I love all Alan Paine sweaters and this is no exception.
