At the age of 15 Abbey was introduced to the sport by her grandfather, Peter Burton. Following shooting lessons at E.J. Churchill in High Wycombe and competing at county level, she made the Great Britain team as a junior in her first year and never looked back. Abbey also managers to find time to be a freelance clay shooting instructor and has opened a shop at her shooting ground.
Having played professional rugby for seventeen years Ceri has represented Wales 35 times, having won the grand slam and Triple Crown in 2005, played in two world cups and represented the Barbarians. Several years ago the former Wales number 10 returned to Pontypidd RFC after two years at Exeter Chiefs. Ceri has a passion for all country sports, especially shooting and fishing.
JPR combines his passions for fieldsports, fishing and photography, regularly sharing his love of the British countryside and what it has to offer. He is a prolific game shooter and, as well as his 9-5 job, finds time to help run a small shoot.
Living with her partner, daughter, 2 lazy lurchers, a cocker spaniel puppy and Spike the ferret in the rolling hills of Lancashire, Alice is lucky enough to have the opportunity to shoot, beat, stalk & cook to her heart’s content! Several years ago, she tried her hand at clay shooting and has not looked back; progressing to a few driven shoots (a small farm one and a much larger scale estate shoot), she is now heavily involved with her local syndicate shoot.
A born and bred farmer’s daughter, Charlie’s family has been farming on the same Suffolk patch for over 100 years. A country girl through and through; wellies and tweed, Land Rovers and tractors, shooting and dogs, roast dinners and ciders. You’ll find it all on her successful blog.
